Status Report - Week 27 2026
Real life
This was the last week of the school year for everyone \o/
Lyla got very good grades at the Baccalauréat's anticipated sessions, and Anton received a very good report; this concludes an excellent year for both of them.
Lyla was set to go to London for a few days with a friend of hers, and getting there was an adventure: all Eurostar trains from the Netherlands were cancelled due to an electrical incident, and I had to take her to Brussels to catch her train there. Even though everything was fine in the end, I've been (negatively) impressed by Eurostar's customer obsession: they don't try to rebook you, nor give you visibility on what's going on. I guess that's what happens when you are in a monopoly...
On Sunday Anton, Nathalie and I drove to Paris, where we'll spend a few days and pick Lyla back up before we head South.
In terms of reading, I continued Récoltes et semailles II and Maths MP-MP* - Tout-en-un, that will both keep me busy for a little while.
I ran 20.54 km, and had a light but good week at GeoGuessr: I won 2 of my 2 duels, which was enough to be promoted Master III for the first time \o/
Open source
I spent a bit of time on my too-small-to-talk-about-yet mathematics project, and very little on SourceHut: I only submitted a patch to clarify that audit log entries are purged after 14 days, and made the June release of sr.ht-integration-testing.
