Status Report - Week 20 2026
Real life
We had a very long weekend, and a friend of Lyla's came over from Paris for four days. They had a good time, and I had the "chance" of driving them to various places :-) Apart from that, it was a very uneventful week.
I finished Huge numbers, that was very good in the beginning - when it was about large numbers in real life - and then not as much, borderline boring - when it was about huge numbers we came up with "just because we could", like Fish number 7.
I barely ran - only 18.61 km - with the (far fetched) excuse that it's better to stay at home when we have people visiting than disappear for bouts of time.
Finally, I had a mediocre week at GeoGuessr, with 17 wins out of 36 duels. It was still enough to finish 4th in my Gold I group, and be promoted back to Master IV.
Open source
I spent most of my time working on servo, exploring the "fascinating" world of SVG and sending a few patches to packages servo depends on:
- Support hwb to represent colors (patch)
- Support actual angles in hsl/hsla (patch)
- Support '/' as a separator for the alpha part of colors (patch)
- Case insensitive font family matching (patch)
On the SourceHut front, I continued to build upon my in-review series to improve GraphQL support in the project hub:
- Implemented an API to list public projects (patch)
- Implemented APIs to manipulate a project's README (patch)
- Start working on resource => project resolvers, which helped me
